Katherine Jenkins Christmas TV Shoot

Working alongside LD Jamie Corbidge, as his assistant LD and Lighting Programmer.

This was a busy and intense four camera shoot over three days featuring a full orchestra, ballroom dancing, aerial artists and special guests.

The shoot made use of several locations in and around the Royal Albert Hall. With little time allowed for rehearsals and camera tests the entire team was kept on their feet and getting things right first time was more important than ever.

Blue Prism 2019 - UK and USA

Working alongside LD Jamie Corbidge, as his assistant LD and Media Server Operator

This was a first for Blue Prism who wanted to make a big impression! They had previously done small scale events but wanted to level up and push their boundaries. As a tech firm they had high expectations and we delivered a huge scaffolding structure with fully mapped video strips as a set piece and a massive lighting rig all integrated to produce a stunning design.

With the initial event in London complete and Jamie busy with other duties, I was asked to look after the second event in Orlando.

Sibos Innotribe 2019

Working alongside LD Danny Evans, as his assistant LD and Lighting Programmer.

The Innotribe area at the Sibos conference is all about innovation and creative disruption within the financial sectors. The area aims to bring together innovators and investors to identify, develop and implement transformational products.

The brief for this area was that it needed to be a show centre piece and standout from everything else going on but to also have a laid back and informal ambience. Every element of this area had to work together and fit around the centre piece of a giant art installation of swimming fish.

Redbull Culture Clash 2014

Working alongside LD Jamie Corbidge, as his Lighting Programmer.

The Culture Clash filled Earl’s Court with 4 different stages to host the world’s biggest music battle. Featuring Rebel Sound (Chase and Status, Shy FX, Rage and David Rodigan), Boy Better Know, Stone Love and A$AP Mob and a crowd of 20,000 music fans as well as the quarter of a million fans watching along online.

This was a big event and pushed the technological boundaries to the limits of the time. 8 lighting consoles, over 500 lighting fixtures and four different stages to be controlled. There was a lot of planning and co-ordination to get everything just right. Ultimately everything was spot on and the event was a spectacular success.
